Skales features Banky W on Nobody's Business
– Skales drops new single titled Nobody’s Business
– The Reggae/ Afro pop song features Banky and was produced by Killertunes
– The song is a catchy, danceable piece and has strong elements that can grow on the listeners
Emerging pop star and rapper Skales has dropped new music with former label boss Banky W and we love the smooth flow of the Reggae/ Afro pop song.
Titled Nobody’s Business, it was produced by Killertunez and it centres on both artistes and their personal lives as they ask that critics let them be.
Banky (whose close friends Olamide, Ebuka, Tunde and Noble have all gotten married in recent times) appears to be under increasing pressure by the day to settledown with a lady and he addresses this in the new song.
On his end, Skales sings about having found fulfillment in being his real self and how much this has impacted on his career.
He sings:
“Them dey ask how I feel, I feel blessed
“Everybody done dey gbadun my realness
“Thank God say I found fulfillment
“How I’m living is nobody’s business.”
The melody is strong, present and catchy. The beats are solid, Killertunez makes it all too easy for both stars with the balanced keyboard and guitar strings as well as overall sequencing of the sounds.
The song increases Skales’ outputs yet again, adding to his selection of pop jams.
We say this because the song has everything it takes to become a mainstream hit given the right push and a deserving video.
It’s interesting how much Skales has bounced back from the setbacks of label troubles and other personal skirmishes here and there. We love his energy, passion and drive.
