Italy have continued their sensational run of form at the ongoing European Championships. The Azurris scored in the 88th minute following a superb dash by Eder who fired past goalkeeper Andreas Isaksson for his side to claim all three points.
It was a well-balanced game, but the Swedes fluffed a couple of chances and eventually paid dearly for it.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic who was not really in the game could only do little as his side is condemned to a defeat at the competition, leaving them third in Group F with just one point.

Bologna forward Emanuele Giaccherini opened the scoring in the 32nd minute. Belgium fought so hard to get the equalizer and their best chance was fluffed after Divok Origi headed wide a delicious cross in what could be described as their best chance of the night.

A sumptuous volley by Graziano Pelle in stoppage time wrapped up the game for the Italians. It ended; Italy 2-0 Belgium.
